How to play the NYT Spelling Bee?
Today's NYT hive
Each day's puzzle uses the official NYT Spelling Bee letter set. The center letter is required in every valid word.
Find valid words
Words must be at least 4 letters, use only the 7 hive letters, and include the center letter. Words from the NYT lexicon are accepted.
Hunt for pangrams
A pangram uses all 7 letters at least once and is worth 7 extra points. Each NYT puzzle has at least one pangram.
